DISCLAIMER FOR PRODUCTS SOLD
Except as expressly stated herein, Kitea Ghana LTD. makes no representations or warranties, either express or implied, of any kind with respect to products sold. In no event shall Kitea Ghana LTD, its Directors, Employees or Representatives be liable for any direct, indirect, consequential, or punitive damages related to the products sold.

PAYMENT METHODS
Payment on the items are in Ghana Cedis and are inclusive of applicable VAT.
Accept all Visa & MasterCard credit cards. To protect your security and to prevent credit card fraud where possible, we reserve the right for proof of identity on ALL purchases.
We also accept payment via Mobile Money, Cheque and Banker’s Draft but deliveries will only be made once the Cheque or Banker’s Draft clears from the bank within 4 working days. All Cheques or Bankers Draft must be made out in the name, Kitea Ghana Ltd.
Payment in full including finalization of any lay-by arrangements is required prior to delivery if the delivery address and billing address are different, or to enable us to carry out necessary security checks, you must provide proof of address.

REFUNDS & RETURNS
The Buyer is expected to ensure at the time of taking deliveries of any items as far as colour, quality or any fault or defects of the furniture or accessories. It should be immediately reported to the Store within 24 hours, and we will arrange a technician to visit and inspect the fault or damage. If the fault or damage cannot be repaired, then the items will be replaced, subject to availability of same or similar items available in our stock or any other items the buyer agrees to accept in lieu of the defective items. Alternatively, a credit note for the similar value will be issued after two working days.

However, this will not apply to the extent that the fault is caused by abuse, misuse, or damage through accident or neglect by the buyer or his agent.
Please ensure the mattress parameters correspond to your bed beforehand. Check the length, width, and height of the mattress when purchasing. Cancellation of mattress special order is not accepted.
The dimensions of all our sofas are mentioned on the price display stands. So, please take note of these before confirming purchase of the same as we do not accept returns of sofas if they do not enter the doors / lifts of your building.

Cancellations must be advised in writing, directly to the store of purchase no later than three working days prior to the scheduled delivery date. We will not accept cancellation afterwards.
Cancellations subject to a 10% deduction from the purchase invoice amount paid by the buyer. Delivery charges will not be refunded if we attempt to deliver goods.
Exchanges and refunds can be given where goods are faulty and cannot be replaced or rectified, wrongly described or different from the sample shown to you or don’t do what they are supposed to.

STORAGE & RESERVATIONS OF GOODS
Items purchased will not be reserved until a minimum of 50% of the value of the invoice has been paid. Goods can be stored in our warehouse for a maximum period of 14 days from the date of receipt of 50% deposit. In the event that you fail to take delivery within 14 days, there will be a charge of 500 GHC per day. Storage facilities are not applicable for items on any sale promotion or items in any clearance corner.

DELIVERY ADDRESS & CONTACT DETAILS
Our MOTTO is to deliver your purchase as soon as possible and to deliver it to your given address. Please provide your exact delivery address and contact (mobile/ telephone) number.
Incorrect information may cause a delay in processing your purchases.
Please note that in case the goods cannot be delivered for wrong address or non-availability of contact on the given address, or the person could not be contacted on the provided phone number, the next delivery will only be made on additional transport charges and availability of transport.

PRICING POLICY
All products are fixed prices. We do not provide further discounts.

DISCLOSURE OF DATA AND DATA PROTECTION
Kitea Ghana Ltd will treat all relevant information as confidential.
Without prejudice to any right of Kitea Ghana LTD disclose information as provided by general law or applicable legislation or regulation, each Customer agrees that Kitea Ghana LTD may disclose any Relevant Information to any Authorized Recipient regardless of country or territory in which such Authorized Recipient is located.

The term “not, and will not be deemed to constitute, an express or implied agreement by Kitea Ghana LTD with any Customer for a higher degree of confidentiality than that which may be required by the laws of the Relevant Jurisdiction.

Each Customer should note that relevant may from time to time be collected with the consent of the Customer. Kitea LTD may use such information in the course of its relationship with such Customer or for any other reasonable purpose notified by Kitea Ghana Ltd at any time.

DELIVERY
We cannot be responsible for any late delivery or failure to deliver due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

At the time of delivery, you or your representative will be asked to sign a form to acknowledge that the goods were delivered in good and proper condition. We will assume that anyone at the delivery address who receives the goods is authorized to receive them and provide the acknowledgement.

Where the purchaser requests the merchandise to be left unattended upon delivery, Kitea Ghana LTD accepts no responsibility for any loss or damage or theft that might occur thereafter.

If you need to postpone your delivery, please advise the showroom at least two days in advance and the next delivery can only be done as per the delivery schedule running on that day of postponement. The delivery can be postponed for a maximum period of 15 days. Subsequent storage charges of 500 GHC/ day will be charged for a maximum period of 3 months. After expiry of 3 months, the purchase order will be cancelled, and a refund will be available after deduction of storage charges and deduction of 10% of the invoice price.

Note that our delivery vans drivers are instructed to bring your purchase through the main entrance, to avoid any unwelcome surprises, please inform our staff at the time of purchase of any special delivery requirements. It is your responsibility to ensure that the goods can be delivered to the room of your choice. We will only deliver beyond the entrance of the premises at your request.

Delivery will be booked as per the delivery schedule at the time.

All delivery charges are fixed as quoted. However, additional charges may apply in circumstances where normal site access is not available such as deliveries involving the use of stairs, or where changes to delivery arrangements are notified to us less than 24 hours prior to scheduled time of delivery. It is responsibility of the customer to advice KITEA Ghana LTD at the time of sale, for any unusual delivery circumstances.

All deliveries within the Accra area are free for any total purchase per order exceeding GHC 10,000. Else, a flat fee of GHC 1,000 is applicable for deliveries on total orders under GHC 10,000. As for all deliveries outside Accra, they can be arranged by third party transport companies at an additional cost to the customer.

For deliveries when using a third-party transport, an official communication is required from the customer indicating: the driver’s name, ID, vehicle registration number of the person collecting the goods.
